August 7 at 6:00 PM CST - Freshman Open House

Cougar Time will be a new mentor period that will begin this school year. Students will be placed with a teacher and they will meet with this teacher one a week on Tuesdays. The students will stay with this teacher for their entire high school career at NPHS. Our goal is for students to utilize this teacher as a mentor and, as time progresses, for them to have a go-to person in our building. Students will also use this time to discuss issues like using social media responsibly, preparing for their careers post high school, and a variety of other topics relevant to teens and life beyond the walls of NPHS.

ATTENTION: There is a new cell phone policy at NPHS. Students will only be allowed to use their cell phones during passing periods, before or after school, and during their lunch times. Phones should be put away in class so that students can focus on their academics, and avoid distractions that come with cell phones and social media. The only electronic device a student should have out is their school issued iPad. If there is an emergency situation, students can request to go to the office to make a phone call.
